Reasons

  • Supports ESLint 9 without hacks.
  • TypeScript bindings.
  • Proper Windows support.
  • In active development.
  • More informative error messages, not just all or nothing.

Note: I switched the rule config to the plugins modern object-oriented format but this can be reverted.
